Manager was extremely rude I got burnt nachos and she could plainly see that and still argued with me that I was wrong. Extremely unprofessional and tried to overcharge me for my food in which I did not eat. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great food! Expensive drinks! Love the atmosphere! Team Trivia is awesome and the guy that sings acoustic on Thursday night is pretty good. It's also really nice on the patio.

Good atmosphere. Fajitas had no flavor... Enchalida sauce is molé sauce and that wasn't listed. Rice and beans are pretty good but that's about it.

Not the greatest for Mexican food. The chips and salsa were okay. I ordered tacos Al pastor and was served long strips of steak with just pieces of pineapple tossed in. There's no way a Mexican was in the back cooking that, and if so that is unacceptable....My husband ordered a torta de carnitas, and the ingredients other than the meat were not tasty. We were brought what was told to be Diablo salsa, which tasted sweet instead of hot. Just disappointing at the food

The tamales are amazing. They remind me of when I was in Oaxaca. The portions are pretty decent and it's well priced. I recommend this place to anyone who's craving Mexican food.

Basic Mexican, quite good, had taco, quesadillas, and beans. Selection of beers and a full bar. Friendly staff and quick service.

Great service and salsa. I had the chicken quesadilla but it was more like a greasy chicken soft taco. The beef in the tacos reminded me of potted meat. My friend had the cheese dip with beef that reminded me of canned vienna potted meat.10 minutes later my friend was making chocolate gravy in the restroom (my friend did have oatmeal earlier).

Authentic Mexican food. Mine came in a smoking hot lava rock bowl and was awesome! Great service and the guy at the register is hilarious!

This is one of my favorites places to go for lunch. Wait staff are always quick to the table for orders and keep an eye on their customers. Most orders are out within just a few minutes of ordering and are hot and delicious. I've been here many times over more than a decade and have never had a negative experienced. I highly recommend to those searching for a quality Mexican restaurant in Albany.

Food wise, yes I will agree this is a good place. But last night was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The roof leaked all over our table when it started to rain outside, no offer to move us until we asked. They had some guy who can play guitar but should never sing making noise in the background. Finally when we went to leave the parking lot was so flooded that I got soaked up to mid calf on my legs just going to get the car. Owner, take your good food and move to a better location or, just a thought FIX YOUR BUILDING and PARKING LOT. I will be calling the health department.

Always have great food and great drinks. They would usually have trivia night or something like it on the weekends. Not sure if they still do. It was always a wonderful time full of laughs and all night dancing. Definitely a local favorite. If you're ever in town, I recommend you to stop by this restaurant.

CasaTapa is a hometown favorite. Kind servers, delicious food, and authentic atmosphere. Try their TapatiaSpecial with chicken and shrimp or their Sincronizada w grilled chicken (hold the onions and jalapenos on the side). Delicious!!!

My husband and I agreed to not try anymore Mexican spots in Albany! The service was OK, however I felt like I was ordering from a food truck, the margaritas were a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. The food was not good no spice or seasoning and the presentation was like I said reminded me of a food truck. The only thing that was good was the rice.
